Who We Are
Established in 2007, The EDGE Charitable Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization that provides educational, environmental and humanitarian support to children. Today, the EDGE Charitable Foundation has helped more than 20,000 children. In South Florida, 90% of the children impacted by the EDGE continue to work and live in the area where they initially received aid and support. These children are from low income families, migrant families, victims of domestic violence and victims of human trafficking. Through strong community partnerships with schools and businesses, the EDGE Charitable Foundation is able to provide many different services to these children.
The Purple Bag ProjectThe goal of “The Purple Bag Project” is to impact as many children as possible with love, encouragement and empowerment.
“The Purple Bag” is a drawstring bag filled with comforting items:
The purpose of “The Purple Bag Project” is to comfort, encourage, and show love by empowering children through words and gifts. Our goal is to ultimately provide a diversion to children who are in need such as victims, homeless, and those living in low income communities etc. from the circumstance they find themselves in.
Our target is to partner with local, state and federal Victim Agencies, Police and Fire Departments, low-income/minority educational facilities, Department of Human Services, Foster Homes, Head Start Programs and/or other entities that fit the requirements established for “The Purple Bag Project”.
You can sponsor a child and provide a complete purple bag for just $25.00*. Create a bigger impact by sponsoring 100 children and we will promote your business by adding your corporate name printed on the front of the bag.
The greater the quantity, the bigger the impact you can make for so many in need.
Please help put a gentle smile on these little faces.
Thank you to all our annual sponsors!
