YAC
The EDGE’s Youth Ambassadors Committee (YAC) was founded in 2013 with the goal of mentoring youth between the ages of 13-17 in humanitarian skills and social responsibility while incorporating a leadership curriculum.
The YAC, who serve as inspiration and a voice to today’s youth, assist The EDGE by contributing strategic planning, organization, and execution of The EDGE’s three ongoing projects.

I have been a part of the amazing Youth Ambassadors Committee for about 6 years. Being a part of the YAC has imparted me to a greater sense of leadership and humanitarism in wanting to be more involved in my community and various volunteering opportunities. The YAC has contributed to my personal development in being a leader that now takes action.

Being able to work with The YAC has showed me what a great organization it is and how it provides several opportunities for its members to partake in the community. It provides its ambassadors opportunities to learn leadership skills as well as be empathetic towards those in the community and allows them to be connnected with like minded youth.
